Well then I'm gonna go ahead and call it a success. I'll definitely remember to go wide with guitars on the full production with the band, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna disappoint them with a less-than-ideal product. I realize that the vocals will be challenging, I'm sure, but I'm glad I got the music tracks down somewhat decently. Any advice for mixing vocals for this type of music?
My game plan was going to be heavy compression and EQ, and do my best to stay away from reverb, as I can't imagine it'll sound right. Most likely, I'll double, if not triple the lead vocals, and make sure they are lined up nice and toight. Toight like a Toiger...Maybe a little delay if it calls for it.
