hammond c3 in excellent shape - tentatively sold!

tentatively sold!

hammond c3 in excellent shape with the 100 W tone cabinet for sale. pedals and matching bench for sale. not a road dog...it's been babied...one owner besides me. i bought from an ex-hammond dealer - repair guy who had a shop so it was fully serviced when bought in 2003. it was moved to my house 3 miles away (professionally) and it has sat for 3 years with probably 5 hours of playing on it tops. one small scratch on top of bench. 3rd harmonic out but i was advised it's probably a tube and i'm looking into it.

1200 beans reduced from 1800.

selling due to lack of use and wanting to pay down debt...i'll regret it.

pictures are available. i do not know why they didn't upload...

Best of luck. I owned a C3 from 1967 to 1971... wonderful axe, weight being the only downfall.

Recently, I'm playing with a guy who owns a C2. It was modified very nicely, by removing large amounts of wood from the solid sides and back. Matching molding was applied around the cutouts, making it look very professional.

The only difference between a B3 and C3 is the cabinetry. Guts are identical. There is no substitute.

This is OH so true. And a 147 can't be discounted from that setup.

I had the 122, if I remember right.

It took everything the four of us had, to move it around. Worse at load-out time.

My old drummer sent me a console recording when we played Filmore West in 1969... my gawd, there is nothing like a genuine Hammond. What sucks worse, is realizing I was a better keyboard player then, than today.

[ edit ]

If I lived within driving distance of Ohio, I'd buy that C3...

thanks guys...it is gone! had to sell for a grand to move it! ah well...

i think the c's are prettier than the b's. this was a 50's model with the crosses...awesome. sad it is gone. :(
