Once you get to number 1 you likely get a lot of extra hits just from people cruising around checking out tunes.

Good funk Jam, that quote by Bush at the end is funny. Sounds like it would play well live at a club with a full band.

Keep in mind that Christian also had a #1 at soundchick. :D :D :D

Good song

So maybe I should ban you all from Soundclick and follow in the footsteps of a master self-promoter!!!

Thanx for the comments everyone. I appreciate that some of you even took the time to listen to it, let alone say something nice about it. :)

Congratulations, RAMI. I've heard this song before - it's good to see it getting some exposure.

All I got to do is throw a few "Jesus"es in there, and I'll have a whole new demographic listening to it.

 What do you mean, throw a few Jesus' in there?

I mean, I should throw in the word "Jesus" in there and get a few "Christian Rock" fans. I was reading somewhere (it might have been here) that in the Christian Rock industry, they judge the sell-ability of your song by the "JPM"s (Jesus per minute, how many times you say "Jesus" in your song). If you don't have enough "JPM" in your tune, they won't sign you. The Christian Rock industry is as sleazy as any other aspect of the entertainment industry. Maybe more sleazy because of the hypocrisy involved.

And you are soooo right there. Christian is a dirty word now days. So I guess it would be proper to call myself one of those. Since I no longer do as I should to claim I am a true follower of Jesus. I use to hate being considered a christian. Yes, christian would be appropriate for me now. :(

It's too bad that anything should become a bad word. That only happens because of people mis-representing something that should be good. I always thought "Christian values" were love, compassion, acceptance, etc... Seems to me that Christisn values as demonstrated by people in power and the people that keep them in power these days are war, inolerance, revenge, etc...So there's nothing wrong with being a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist or anything else. It's all about how you live it.

Wow! What an awesome funk song!!!
Great musicianship throughout. Nice sounding recording. Excellent.
Congrats on #1 !!!

Over 11,000 plays!? Good stuff RAMI. Thats alot of people or alot of plays anyway!
Song is cool, reminds me of Chilis a bit. Your voice sounds like a cross between Anthony Keidis and Prince! well in my head anyway!
Good mix. Nice punchy drums and guitar tones are good.

Thanx guys....Thought this thread was dead. Thanx for taking the time to listen and comment. Anthony and Prince, I had no idea. 2 of my favorites but never tried to or thought I sound like them...Cool!

Thanx alot NTN, that's awesome. To be honest, I guess it's more funk-rock and a funk purist would probably say it's just rck. But there was no funk-rock category, so that's where I parked. Thanx for listening.

Monkeeeeyyyyy!!!!
