Jesus John, that place is going to be a monster. Looking VERY cool.

Its looking Nice John. Im really glad to see that the wood tone is mahogonyish, dark woods. Im pretty tired of oak being in everything... Cherry and Mahogony for me... It makes the rooms feel warmer IMO. Homey...and Comfy

I bet when it's finished you can hardly stand the place no more? Give me a call aye. :p

My house is gonna look just like that, with a small bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom. And maybe an extra room for the grand piano. But other than that, really alike. Gotta keep that secret untill I'm married though....

i love the v.b. tinnie sitting on the framework in the second pic, is that a permenant fixture ;)

The finish and look is entirely Kev's work. Kev's lady Jenny is at art school so I'm sure she has a hand in it.

The side walls of the drum booth are a huge slot/R and a diffusor. I've repeated it on the back of the control room.

yeah - that's a VB tinny :):) I bet a few of them have been sunk in that room already. That wall is also an example of the backtofront wall treatment. The rigid insulation goes in between the studs and is covered in cloth. Result is a treated wall only 4" thick.

cheers
john

Jenny hasn't had a say so far. It scares me with what she will do.
It is now her choice!

See what I'm up against John.
I need some creative support down here at Guruland.
As far as the interior decore goes the timber stain was my input and the VB can was Kev's.

Kev, remember your in charge of the purse strings and the black boxes with lights and knobs.
Leave the rest to me.
Nothing to be scared about!!!!!

From
Jenny Guru;)

you go for it Jenny - Kev's stuck in a gothic era where black is the easiest solution :):)

cheers
John

Hey Jenny - we now have another lady on the boards. :D
