Guitar Tracks files compatible with Sonar X1?

Hi. My mate has Guitar Tracks and I'm thinking of upgrading from Sonar LE to X1 Studio. Can anyone tell me whether files created in one package could be opened and worked on in the other - I'm thinking of sharing .cwb bundle files with each other to collaborate on songs. He's in HK while I'm in UK so it can't be in person! Thanks guys.
 
Your program will open the guitar tracks not sure going the other wayBut I think not
