guitar cab iso booth

im thinking of building an iso booth for my guitar cabs/amps. and also going di with the amps. anyone ever done this?

also what kinda speaker wire should i get so i can put the box in a whole other room and still be able to keep my heads next to me to tweak and what not?

any suggestions are welcome. thanks in advance.

This may start you on the road. It's by no means perfect and I wouldn't use it late into the night but it's a great improvement on not being able to play loud at all. If nothing else, it may give you ideas.

aight cool thanks man. well it doesnt completely matter if its totally silent. thats not really an issue. i just dont really have a room that i can stick my amp in thatll sound good for heavier stuff. i live out in the country so its all volume isnt really an issue. the room sounds great for clean but not really distorted tons. atleast recording
