I have no idea when it comes to amps. But i'm wanting to purchase a semi-small amp mainly for solo acoustic guitar & vocals. I'm after a nice clean acoustic sound.

Now i know people will suggest finding the one that sounds best to me, but i would really appreciate if someone could offer a few suggestions.

Price-wise, i guess best bang for buck. I am definitely not loaded. Cheers! Thanks guys!

The Carvin AG100 is specifically designed for both acoustic and vocals. Channel 3 has an XLR mic input.

a.p.l., do you work for carvin, are you affilliated with carvin, are you a carvin dealer, or do you just really love pedaling carvin gear? i have never seen someone so loyal to a single brand in my life.

I just like their stuff. The guitars are very good values and their other equipment seems to be rugged, good quality, and it's mostly US made. Since they don't have dealers, the consumer saves a bit. Also, not too many people are familiar with their product line, so I like to give those looking for information another option.

Kinda a shame... but GEESH!!!
I never understood the full extent of how out of context it became at times, until I read some of the examples.

It was "pg music", wasn't it?

Anyway, nice enough guy. Helped me with Ntracks more than once. Even without plugging Powertracks!

apl~ If you are affiliated with Carvin, I expect a new Nomad next time you come to town! :D

A new Carvin 7 string would be nice too!

"you need an acoustic amp huh? Well, I would forget about that and get power tracks from pgmusic.com 48 tracks for 49 bucks. Pretty good deal in my opinion. It also has really good compressors. You can then record it in this software and then play it back live."

A typical Manning1 quote.

Aha! You're starting to feel that attraction, then! Good! Very, very good...

He left after being chastized for constantly talking about PowerTracks.

Actually, he's banned from HR.com now. Don't know how long though.

The "Genz-Benz" I played though (don't remember the model) gave me a woody...

It had the Alesis effects, but sounded absolutely amazing w/o them too.... It was a stereo rig.... Shimmering gorgousenes... I have never said that aboyut an amo before. :D :D :D
