Having trouble importing Fruity Loops Express projects into GT Pro. I can import small .wavs OK, but anything other than small, individual waves won't work. GT Pro behaves like its translating/importing the .wav project, but it never shows up in the editor.

Any ideas?

Ugh... sorry, but I don't use FL express, nor GT Pro... but I did import wave files in SONAR just fine... hmmm..:rolleyes:

I don't know how large you mean, or how fast your computer isor how patient you are, but it may take a while for something to show up after importing.

Does your computer look like it's working (hard drive making noise or light on) when you load a large file? If so, wait longer, as GT has to draw the graphics as well as load the file.

Try importing a large .wav made by a different program, there may be something corrupt when FL exports a large .wav. I have no problems either, in Sonar.

Oh, you might want to type Guitar Tracks instead of GT in thread titles. I wouldn't have even looked at this thread if James didn't post.

...or you can go to your Guitar Track installation folder, edit the AUD.INI file there.

Edit the value on

PicCacheMB=100 (or sumthin')

to bigger value. Say 300 or 500.

It will make "showing process" faster.
