GT AM42 vs. MXL V67

Which one should I get? I´ll use it as a main vocal mic and a room mic for the drums!

Might you be referring to the GT AM52, or AM62?

AFAIK, there is no AM42...

I have a pair of the am-52's and so far I really like them. They can be a touch brittle sounding in the upper mids,but the overall sound quality and versatility have been great so far.

I have both, but I've never actually compared them head to head. If I have time this evening I'll put them up and see what I think. I've generally used them for background vocals and room mic duties, rather than main vocal.

Its a poll, when someone responds to the poll, it yanks the thread to the top even though no reply was left. Why its that way, I don't know.....
