How you hook the GT-66 up, all you need is the powersupply right, or do you need a pre-amp as well?...I put the 6 pin, in the microphone input of the PSM1 powersuppl, and the 3 hole, cord that came with the GT-66 in the box in the audio ouput of the PSM1 powersupply into the input of my soundcard. But,when I record its not working. When I put in my old mic, the Stage Work LD1 that doesnt have a powersupply, I use a pre-amp and it does work. Why is that?

would appreciate it

The power supply is to power the guts of the tube mic (tubes don't run on 48 volts) you still need to have a mic preamp to make it work.
