Has there ever been a bulk tape buy? Is anyone interested? Could we buy enough to make the discount worthwile? Would Quantegy sell directly to us? Would a wholeseller sell directly to us? Am I off my rocker?

I can't see myself going through a lot of reels, but if it could save a little $$, I'm definitely game. I could probably go for 3-4 reels for my needs in a bulk purchase if that would help. Good idea.

Good idea but in practice can leave a lot to be desired. "Beware" is pretty accurate.

I have yet to see a bulk price on tape. Especially nowadays, since tape is riding in the ranks of Classic Chevy's and vacuum tubes, you'd be hard pressed to find a discount for buying in bulk, especially new tape.
