IANATrademarkL, but I think you can trademark a color (with more precision than simply "orange" of course -- like a pantone designation, or something) with respect to one or more defined categories of items -- and likely preamps and guitar amps fall in the same category. Sounds like Chance has a good lawyer for these things, and I'm sure he'd be planning a quick call to him/her on the subject in any event, so I be quiet now.

...I do have some White (brand) EQ's, but would enjoy a signature colour too. I wish my photochops were better to try different cosmetic changes. Any takers? (just something to do while we wait for the rest of the specs)

I think a nice color scheme would be a deep blue (darker than the above) with gold lettering. I'm on an iPhone, so I can't do a Photoshop mockup, but it could be stunning.
