Yep...just ordered me some egg shakers.

Can't wait to see what a $300 egg shaker looks like. Maybe the baby ostrich is still inside? :D
 
I think those eggs are what you get when you shake the goose that lays golden eggs. And you know, they're not cheap to ship either.
 
I'd kick in some extra $$ for shipping if needed.
I say tack that onto the shipping price we all get when they are ready to be delivered.
 
Those shakers feature custom, all-nickel transformers and an all-tube signal path......
 
Oh yeah--I really did buy a bunch of shakers. I was already getting something w/free shipping, so for ten bucks? Heck I'll take some shakers. One less thing I have to sample.

Wait till we see how the shakers sound through the new pres!
 
Chance, could I presume it would take about a month to have the pre´s
ready for Europe shipments? Just trying to make a pudget...

Well,,,,, China should be shipping next week. I have to sign power of attorney to the broker hopefully today, otherwise because of the holiday, Tuesday.

Some friends have just started recording a new album, so I think I'll drop the pres off there when they arrive. They already have a Neve sidecar of some variety, along with my API and Purple Audio pres, that they are using, so it will be interesting to compare them.:D

hey chance, i didn't get a chance to put in an order this time around, but am waiting for one of the ACM-3 replacement ribbons to come in....thing is, i moved since the last GB, so how should i go about updating my shipping info with you? do i just need to change it in paypal, or do you need me to send the new address your way?
 
They're scheduled to ship on the 10th. I still haven't gotten my power of attorney papers but expect to hear from the broker today. They are E-mailing the POA papers, and usually they require a fax for return of signed papers. I don't have a fax anymore. I wonder if I can just scan the signed docs and E-mail back to them. I'll have to ask when he calls.

That should be acceptable, we do it all the time with legal documents. The only significant issues are confirmation (with fax you get a confirmation of transmittal - with e-mail ask for a confirming e-mail) and security (fax is more secure than e-mail). Neither of those issues may matter here.

you know....um....my birthday is the 23rd of this month.... :p

I know what would make an awesome present....

I bet the trip will take 2 to 3 weeks though huh???
