Group Buy Interest?

OK I have registered and submitted info on a preamp. I have not decided on which mic or mic's yet. Will I be able to edit my information once I determine which mic best suites my needs? If so, how?

I hate to mention competing forums, but dubdubdub dot harmony-central dot com has a section for user reviews that is rather large and extensive. It would be killer if folks with TNC gear could post reviews of what they got in their database of user reviews.

EDIT: although obviously those in the group buy should not disclose the price paid on the review for obvious reasons.

I currently don't have a mechanism built in to change quantities, although over the next few days I will be adding one... If you want to register, yes, I'm sure that modifying it at a later date won't be a problem. The way that I'll end up handling this is to build a page to allow people whom have registered, log in and modify their product list...it just doesn't exist at this time.

OK, I'll go ahead and register with a hopefully realistic quantity of items. :D

I assume there will be a deadline for when semi-final modifications need be done, as actual quantities ordered will affect the final prices.

edit: got the email receipt - everything seemed to work flawlessly. Thanks again to both chance and Zeta. :)

Yes I would assume it would. I'll leave all of that for CHANCE to answer though as I'm not sure of any dates myself... I'm sure that when the deadline approaches, it will be posted on the boards and when the deadline has arrived, the ability to register or modifiy your products will be disabled... just thinking out loud.

will heavier mean thicker? my admittedly pedestrian understanding is that around 2 microns +/- .5 or so of nearly pure aluminum leaf is what you generally want...

looks great! I can't get past the initial form, though - I'm using firefox on a mac, and there's no "submit" button - that is, I'm able to fill in "Group Buy" "First Name" "Last Name" "Main Forum" "Forum UserName" "Email Address" "Confirm Email Address", but then I can't do anything to actually submit the info.

Another question - I was one of the last few people to receive a shipment in the last group buy, and Chance had said that, like promised in the gospel, the last would be first in this group buy. The difficulty is that my paypal email address has changed, and the form doesn't give anywhere to indicate what my old one was (not that there should be a field for it, but I was unable to sneak the info into any other field, due to character-width restrictions).

If I'm on an unsupported browser, and my change of email address has simply left me out of the promised land, then so be it - but I figured I'd bring it up.


EDIT: Safari worked, and by abbreviating this bbs name as "HR" I was able to squeeze my old email on that line, and then after my bbs username, I was able to parenthetically indicate the significance of the email address on the previous line - so I'm probably good - I'll follow up if the email receipt doesn't arrive.

EDIT #2: after refreshing a bunch and repeatedly selecting the GB from the list, even Firefox started showing the table of items (that's what wasn't happening before) so maybe due to internet traffic I wasn't getting the full set of javascript or something the first few times - I didn't keep going in FF, since I had already registered using Safari, but it did then look like it was going to work.

EDIT #3: got the email.

Ihave been getting E-mails stating that the registration link doesn't work. I just tried it and indeed, it does not open. Anyone else have this problem?
 
It worked for me. I haven't signed up yet though, as I'm still mulling over the mics. Is there info somewhere on the approximate prices of the various mics? Thanks.

It worked yesterday for me. Signed up, but haven't selected gear yet until we have more info. It's a forgone conclusion that I'll be ordering at least 4 pres though.:D
 
One thing I noticed is that the pres listed on the order page do not contain the model numbers.

Which relates to what model?

I see your registration in the system... not sure why you didn't get the email though... Check your spam filters to make sure it didn't get hung up somewhere on your end...

If you've seen the pics on Chance's site, #1 is the top one, #2 is the middle, and #3 is the bottom. You can also click the little magnifying glass next to each item to see a better description. I'm not sure about the standalone unit, but I'm sure that will become clear.
