"Forgot Password" Feature for User Console

Tomorrow, I'll put an addition to the login page for the User Console for "Forgot Password"... I'm sure that someone will forget their password and this will come in handy...

FYI:

I'm running a bit behind on my recording today, so I went ahead and added the "Forgot Password" feature to the User Console Login page. I tested it and it seems to be working fine.

I just added those two mics to my website.
The white one is a ribbon thats in what looks like a condensor body.

The other one might look familiar to some. (think weapons grade LOL)

Those look cool. Just curious, have you considered asking them to make a large diaphragm dynamic mic? We all seem to dig those here.

Chance,

Could you please advise me if any mics (or a reasonable quantity) from the group buy were sent to Adelaide, South Australia.

Cheers

I don't recognise that city, but there were at least 200 mics (total) sent to Austrailia

Walt,

I just tested your login credentials for the User Console and they work just fine. Remember that when you re-type the CAPTCHA, it is case-sensitive...

If you've forgotten the email address that you've registered with, PM me and I'll give it to you, or it should be in the email receipt that you received upon registration... Since you've not been able to log in to change your password, your password is still the default setting: password.

Let me know if I can assist further.

Oh no!!!! 2 more neat mics. What to do, what to do. Can't wait to see the details of both. Now I may have to re-think my entire purchase.

Is the new tube similar to a C12 style mic? It looks really great.

Chance, can you tell us what was redesigned on the ribbon? It looks so polished. So far, they're the two most beautiful in the list, at least I think so.

It's in South Australia. Reason I asked is that there's someone there Ebaying ribbon mics that look "familiar" (ACM-4, ACM-900) and claiming they're made in an "East Euro" country. Of course, he may have got them somewhere other than the "buy".

Specs are up on the site for the other 2 mics

Looking nice!

I know other people have mentioned it, but is there any chance that you could give us a subjective description of how these mics sound?

I'm not saying to compare them to other brands, but something along the lines of "mic x has a tight bottom end, where as mic y has a looser bottom but more air on the top".

I was set on two of the 6802's, but the new 1200's could be a better choice for me - but how do I know without some sort of description?!:D

Have you been using these mics yourself at all? If you have some sound samples would be amazing, especially comparitive ones (between other TNC mics of course!;) )

Looking forward to the buy!

On another note the engineering dept has my redesigned ribbon mic ready for production along with a new (sort of) tube condenser mic.(you might recognise it) I have a pics and specs for both but am worried about putting too many things up for grabs and not make the quota of 100 pieces each (minimum) for all this gear.
Can you give us any brief comparisons between these new mics and the others that are on the site? How does the new tube condenser differ from the 6802 (besides a pad and what I assume is a high pass, not low pass as written, filter)?

How does the new ribbon compare to the other ribbons? Are there notable sonic differences? The specs are fairly similar, and specs really don't tell much of a story anyway.

Ditto question here. The ACM-1200 looks lovely. What's it got the 6802 doesn't? I might want to change my order as well.

same here...man, I was thinking I would make a stereo pair by getting another 6802 to match my last one. But now things are looking a little complicated..

Was a decision on color for the preamps ever reached??????

I'm REALLY hoping for either white w/ red print (or steel gray w/ white print would work as well).

That was a question I am still waiting for a reply on. They DID say silver or anodised blue for sure
