That's a pretty big commitment, so I wouldn't expect a quick answer. For one thing, that's a pretty big number of ribbon motors to replace - it would cut substantially into the profit margin on this deal (from their standpoint). And in addition, they have to figure out why the problem happened in the first place, and make sure that the replacement motors are reliable. So it's not a trivial task for them. It doesn't do any good for them to replace the motors with new ones that suffer the same problem.I think China is having their annual 2 week holiday as I still haven't gotten a response about ribbon motor replacments.

Go to Hyde's site and search the "Legacy" range........there's a few more "familiar" mics, Epiphone amp knock-offs, familiar looking guitars, etc.
