OK,, Like I said only 3 more orders to fill, but what is a suggested way to satisfy the "ribbon sag" problem? My last corrospondense with them said I will try to find an alternative remedy. Maybe new ribbons? Does the ACM-2 & 3 use the same ribbon? I haven't had the time to open them yet to look (packing & shipping) I can't ask for too much because of the price we paid, and in the past I retensioned the ribbon in the lolly pop mic and it wasn't hard at all, but I need some suggestive input to send back to them. I posted a while back about a Nady lolly pop mic that a friend uses (and loves) I opened it to discover it too had ribbon sag. My friend didn't want me to retension it. He loves the mic the way it is. Go figure! Maybe different tensions are better for different things. His mic is a dedicated guitar amp cabinet mic. (and it does indeed give a nice warm pleasing sound.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a "new ribbon" is something that can be easily shipped, handled, or put in a microphone. These are very flimsy, delicate items that will blow across the bench if you exhale. It takes a modicum of mechanical and electronic knowledge to install and tension them. I believe the ribbons pretty much have to be cut, corrugated and installed in fairly close physical proximity to where each process is carried out, because handling, packing and shipping them would entail some difficulty.
Err.............My error. I must not of used my paypal account on the initial order and used paypal with no account. I just checked my other email and I had the request.

OK, so I guess I was #3 at the end. So I'll be first on my block with the new pre and compressor.
