This ain't a biker bar, dudes.
No offense taken by anyone. I know everyone wants their mics ASAP. Thats only human nature. It might help to look at this as an "investment" that takes time to reap the rewards. I only hope no one is disappointed with their mics. So far (crossed fingers), I have only heard good reviews, and I am thankful for that. It kind of makes this all worth while. Like our friend "qiktune" mentioned, he just recieved his mic from the first group buy. Now thats patience. LOL
I'm a little past the half way point as far as mics go. I started with 69 cartons of mics, and I still have about 28 to go. Bear in mind some cartons have only 4 mics, and some cartons have as many as 12 mics.
I'm planning the next GB around the first of the year. Every GB has been a learning experience. The last GB, the process of getting the mics from customs was a nightmare. I had to go to the port of LA, get papers, take them to Long Beach, pay the duty, take those stamped papers back to the port of LA, pay the dock fee and get them signed off, take the signed off papers to the broker, the broker then releases the goods, then it was back to the port and get the mics. This process took a full day and a LOT of driving. THIS TIME it was painless I had everything ready beforehand and simply handed my papers to the port, and they had a fork lift bring the mics out. I left my place at 8:00am and was back by noon. It's all part of the learning process. The only wrench in the spokes now, is the shipping process (to y'all). I am trying to streamline this process now. From the feedback I am getting along with some heavy indorsments, I am thinking the next GB will be at least 3 times greater in quantity which will require me to farm out the shipping. I'll know more about this packaging service later today
where is the current catalog for the mics available?
LOL The thought of anyone in a biker bar (at least the ones near where I live) using the phrase "you ungrateful little twat" cracks me up endlessly...made my morning. Thanks APLThis ain't a biker bar, dudes.

Hey, Paypal still is not allowing me to pay for shipping using the same exact user/CC details as I used when I successfully paid for the mic using the same method months ago.
If this paypal issue cannot be settled quickly, can I either send you a personal check to cover shipping, have you refund me the cost of the mic and credit my CC, or have you keep the mic but give the 50 some-odd bucks I sent you to a charity of my choice?
I appreciate all your hard work on this, but I'm not willing to waste any time hassling with paypal over a frikkin' 13 dollar payment when I could be spending my time either being a good dad to my 2-year-old or something meaningful like that. Know what I mean?

Good man. It's refreshing to see you have your priorities in order (family first) Since your order is ready to ship, I'll ship it and you can send a check
i dont have the greatest of rooms.
You can fix that for less than $200.
which of these mics would you guys recommend the most to work as drum overheads?
right now i use either two msh-1a's, or two mxl990's for overheads.

i was looking at a set of either the acm-582's, one of the ribbon models, or acm-220/240 (is the only difference here the pad and low cut?)
i use the recorderman technique, so if any of you have had experience with any of these with that technique any tips or heads up would be great.
thanks and expect me to be a part of the next order.
and a huge thank you to chance for putting this all together its pretty incredible.

I agree.Yeah, chance, take a break! You've worked hard and earned it! With the long weekend next week, you could leverage four business days off into an eleven day vacation!
