Chance, I assume because the prices on the mics are nice round numbers, that you have rounded the price up by a buck or two.

At least, I hope you have.

For all the work and headaches you are going through, you deserve to have some compensation for your time.
 
Well I hope so because I will be paying the overseas shipping, duty, and broker charges. We'll see what happens. Don't worry tho, the posted prices are firm

No - I'm also ordering from Canada. I'd be curious to hear what the extra charges were from those in Canada that purchased in the last group buy.
 
Well I purchased in the last group and there wasn't any surprise at the door... I just got the package and thats all... (Of course, I paid Chance for shipping, but there wasn't any additionnal fees...)

I don't know what was the shipping method (probably USPS) but it was great and I recommend that Chance uses the same service as the last group buy for the Canadians...

Just a little update:
I still have not recieved the invoice, so I called the rep here in LA and discovered that everyone was in Europe for some show, but will be back in the offices today (Monday), so it won't be long now.
 
Just another little update: Our mics are in production. I asked for an "ETA" so I should recieve a reply this afternoon (I hope)

Cool! This is actually a pretty big update.

Just curious, any idea if the factory has a QA department or does a decent amount of testing? This is typically a weak point of Chinese manufacturers.
 
Those who ordered the ACM-4 in blue or red, the quantity is too low to produce, so They suggested white or black. I told them "white" (because it looks so cool) if anyone (that ordered red or blue) disagrees post ASAP. Those who did not specify a color got black
 
thanks chance. did they ever get back to you about an ETA? also, any news on the next GB?
 
Chance I am becoming confused I know you are going to be doing another group buy soon enough, Im just hoping we can start a new thread for the next effort. I dont want to miss out on this run or I will be quite saddened :(

I wonder if I would actually miss it if we did it in a different thread. :eek: Plus, I'm getting kind of attached to this one.
 
They got back to me and are putting the invoice together. I should have some information this weekend.
 
I just got "Gizmo Project" and called China yesterday. Now I can get minute by minute up dates. This Gizmo thing is real cool it's free and almost free phone calls to any phone in the world. and the sound quality is amazing. They said that production has started our mics, and the invoice should be here today. If I get the invoice today, I will make the transfer tomorrow. I should have an ETA this weekend
