Yep... My band is about to start a new project and I can't wait to try these HRM-10's on banjo... That was the whole reason for my wanting these mics...

We are at the final steps. I was made aware that in that last invoice, there was no shipping charges.Based on the first invoice, it was around $300.00 I think, devided between almost 30 of us still only comes out to around $10.00 each. My first thought was to ignore it, but it is better to be honest and not have it turn around and bite us in the back. Plus it will be good for any future buys. I need for everyone to send me an E-mail to musicians.workshop@gte.net under subject put "MIC INVOICE" and I will send you a Paypal payment request. You do not need to have a paypal account. This all goes thru my Pay pal account. The payment I will be requesting will be for the mics only. I will cover what ever the shipping is for now. In that way, once I recieve the goods, I can more accurately, account for each order by weight and size, and charge accordingly. In that way, someone who gets only 1 mic, pays less for shipping than someone who gets 5 mics. When the mics are recieved, I will have them boxed, and will find out what the shipping charges are to all of you. Then I will add up each individual shipping charge from China, to me, then to you, and I will send another Paypal request, and when I recieve that, the mics will be shipped to you. It seems like a round about way of doing things, but it will be fair to everyone

Hey chance, just letting you know my paypal address is chris (at) silentopp (dot) com for when you're ready to ship out the invoices.

Edit: And I sent you an email.

I already have 10 replies, with 20 more to go. I will start sending the "requests" in the morning.
I have been getting requests from unknown names. I will only accept from people who openly post. The reason for this is then they are accountable to all of us.

I hope you found me and do send a PP Invoice.

Hey Chance,

I've sent you three emails so far, they're all coming back with undeliverable errors. I haven't seen any replies from you either. Just wanting to make sure I cover my end of the deal by sending you those emails. Have you gotten any of them?

At first I was thinking and HTML problem...sent you the last in plain text.

Chance, should we be sending our emails with our homerecording username in the subject? If so, I will resend to make sure you know it's me.

Chris - I would suggest you do that. I e-mailed him and he replied that I had to let him know who I was on the board as he didn't recognize my e-mail address. How else would he know who we were? I didn't think of that.

Does anyone have any ideas how long to wait for these others. I guess we should take into account the holidays, and some might be out of tune. This is holding up everyone. This is what I meant about accountability.

How many are you waiting for? I'd say if you don't get a response by noon tomorrow make the remaing mics first come first served. It's not like everyone in this thread was unaware of when payment is/was due.

I just emailed you to get on the "B" list (if there are cancellations).

I hear what you're getting at. I'd say give them 24 hours and then start offering up the non-responive's mic up for sale again. There were a bunch of late comers right here wanting to get in on the action after the closing date was set. I donno 'bout the others but I'm thinking take a look at the thread activity...most of the action was right smack in the middle of the holidays. It seems to me that those folks that were watching this thread during the holidays would still be watchin and if not, they're back at work and should be checking.

It may seem a bit harsh but if I was you, I sure wouldn't want to be sitting on a bunch of stuff. I mean...everyone knew this was going to happen quickly...you did post the start and stop dates. Do what makes you comfortable but while the feeding frenzy is still a bit high, unload them to the next taker.

Might be a little work but I guess you could go back through the threads and send an email from the forum to those who said they were going to be buyers.

Hit me up if you get stuck...I might be willing to take another off your hands.

I agree on all counts....we've ALLl been busy over the holidays but we've all managed to check in on what's happening with this thread. Like punkin says, you're taking a huge risk on a lot of people you don't know.

I'd be more than interested if there's anything leftover after the demand has been satisfied.

Still waiting on those people that I posted. I was just on Pay pal site and they state that it takes 4 to 5 days for me to transfer the funds from Pay pal into my account. China does not work with Pay Pal. I have to do a physical transfer of funds at the bank of China.( sign papers etc. ) I have never worked with PayPal in this manner. PP is charging a small fee for all of your payments. I haven't found out yet if they are charging you or me.
