I missed the deadline, I still need two replacement ribbons...... What is the procedure?

That's a good question...

Chance, will you be sending ribbons to everyone who bought the acm-2 and acm-3 automatically and do you have a list of people who did not get the Shockmounts that they had paid for but did not receive.?

.797 Audio "does not" build Joemeek, which is one of the reasons we passed on our project. The quality we get from the factory that build Meek is quite good.
agreed love my Joemeek things! but love my C-Labs stuff a lot more, and you inferred 797 does build that, correct?

Wow....Wow. You might be right but that's just raining on everyones parade. I kinda want someone to kick that soapbox from under you.(pretty childish of me, I know):o

I have a DVD recording of this chick using the ACM-200 mic. I tried uploading to you tube, but my digitiser is not working. The video plays in my MAC and a DVD player, but I THINK it has to first be digitised before I can up load it. Any ideas??

There is a program called "Handbrake" That you can use on a mac or P.C.. It will rip from not protected DVD's very easily and has alot of output options, But also has presets and I believe one of the presets is for the web. Youtube will down convert almost anything to there specs though so it proly doesn't matter too much. http://handbrake.fr/?article=download

Bummer. I've been trying Handbrake, but there is no GUI version for MAC OSX 10.3.9. I tried the handbrake 9.1 in the CLI, but I get a "corrupt image" message on the screen

Ive tried to find alternatives to hand brake, but most are about $50. (trial versions available) There is a free ripper for mac called "mac the ripper" but you would need to use another program to convert those files to something else.If you have toast you could use that, if not there is a program called "popcorn" that people are using.
I really don't know much about mac so I am really just grasping at straws here. I'm only responding because no one else has yet and it seems if you give bad advice sometimes it can expidite a good response:DJ/K
I got this info from here tho http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22868
I Live in the San Gabriel Valley, and if you need me to I could bring my laptop out and rip it for you if you are still having trouble.

If you took the video yourself, the general process would be video camera -> record into software -> encode onto DVD. (Unless the camera is one of those that records directly to a DVD?)

In this case, ripping back from the DVD should be unnecessary; instead, you could simply go back to the software file, and encode the movie it into a smaller, compressed quicktime file. This would also allow you to set up the audio quality as you see fit.

Mac the ripper worked, but I still need something else. I don't have popcorn. If someone can convert, send me an E-mail and I will reply with the TS files attached that I got from the ripper

The label would not allow me to put up the session that I wanted to using all TnC mics on her and the band, but gave their OK to post her doing a cover to pre recorded trax using the ACM-200 mic. I have to confess that you tube did a poor job converting this. the video is much darker and I seem to detect some hi end distortion that was NOT on the orginal.

Nice job Chance! Although youtube may be ubiquitous and a prolific way of distributing video, the quality leaves A LOT to be desired. Still, the personality of the mic came thru.

BTW, any updates on the status of the mics/pres?? I would think we're coming down the home stretch towards a ship date fairly soon.....no??

You can thank YouTube. It was working last night, higher quality stereo sound.
It's kind of a hack to gain access to a high quality version, it doesn't always work.
If you add &fmt=6 or &fmt=18 to the end of a YouTube URL it can sometimes make the video / audio higher quality.

I caught it this morning. Pretty impressive, Chance. I wonder if the 900 sounds that good?

For some reason I can't hear any audio from Youtube, no problems anywhere else, just Youtube :(

It seems to be working again. Maybe it depends on server traffic (time of day)?
This higher quality version sounds a LOT better.
