Matti,

Give it another day or two. I'm sure your refund is in the works since there's no logical reason why it wouldn't be. If it doesn't show up by Monday, maybe Chance can contact the person at Paypal handling the refunds and find out the status of your money.

Just recieved my Paypal notification of refund. Because mine was through CC it will take a further 3 days before the refund is processed, but it's on the way .

Cheers to Randy and Chance for all your efforts and Jeers to the bugger that caused all this kerfuffle. I look forward to replacing my order when the new payment option is sorted.

Well there's some more good news for the day. The description says they're $16 so I thought I had to order one separately. This day just keeps getting better and better. And tomorrow should be a great day too since my interface is arriving after getting some mods at Black Lion and it's my last day at work before a week long vacation. That gives me all week to play with my new Demeter tube pre!!!

WOOHOO!!!:D:D:D

A question, mainly about the ACM200 and ACM900 mics, as being phantom or self powered they negate the need for extra high gain preamps................you said you like the 200, but what would you say are the "sonic" differences between the two AND what, in your opinion would be their most useful applications.......eg: o/heads, guitar cabs, vocals, etc., etc...........does one stand out more than the other?

I'd hate me too ;)

And if you want to hate me some more, this week is also going to give me a chance to play with the Blue Kiwi I picked up in a trade for my Avalon M5. I made the trade just before I sent my interface off to Black Lion and didn't get a chance to play with that either.

LOL sorry, but with all the problems we've been having I failed to answer that. No the shockmount is an accessary. The mic just comes in a foam lined cardboard box
 
Didn't work out for me to order this time, but my steps are ordered.

Will I get a new ribbon for my ACM-3?

Just for the record, we ARE almost done with the new account implementation for the merchant account to be able to start the payment process over again... Just got off the phone with the processor again, and were going in that direction... It's almost like trying to eat an elephant! :D

At any rate, here's the payment options that we will have:

  1. Credit Card Processing - Visa & MasterCard only (Amex & Discover costs too much! :)) - Not sure of the exact transaction fees yet but will inform everone as soon as I know and the account gets boarded.
  2. ACH - Online Checks - If you have the cash in the bank and you'd rather make payment using this method, it will be available. Still not sure on the exact transaction fee for this one, but it will be cheaper than the credit card processing option. I will post the exact rates as soon as they are passed along to me from the processor.

I know, I know, some of you are thinking, "He opened up a merchant acccount and don't know the rates???"... Yes, I did. But I know all of these people that are working for this processor and I know that they will give me the best rates that they possibly can... Some of these people I have worked with, actually in the same office for 6+ years...

I'll post more updates as soon as I have them.

OK, thanks a lot chance, just wanted to be sure, since the other responses seemed to be hearsay.

so will shockmounts be available for an extra charge then? do we have an amount for that? i haven't seen anything on the user console.
