Do you have a studio here? What do you do beats, rap, productions???? I sing, but
I'm trying to get down on some productions and songwriting this Summer. Working on a little studio project in my basement. Ultimately, I want to own a spot like Maurice Starr had, but run it right. I'm tired of cats running to NYC, ATL, and LA just to get their stuff amped and showcased. I'm like let's do the damn thang right here, just as long as I can show that I put out straight bangers......Every so often, I take a course at Northeastern just to get familiar w/ equipment. But that is my dream, to own and operate my own.

A good one that was the drum track that even had some of the top dogs in production copycatting

...Real Love - Mary J. Blige
You can't tell me ya'll weren't jammin on that one!
***USE THIS IDEA***
Demo producers: Sample the first few bars of that joint, loop it and let your mc shine! If (s)he has skills, (s)he'll kill that ish!

I agree. Those are the same drums as in 'Top Billing' , one of the two i couldn't decide on.
