Along with various single and multiple song demos, I've produced 3 full-length recordings with this equipment for other people for money! It's good equipment and it has served me well in conjunction with a PIII 450 mhz Aptiva computer. For somebody looking to make the first jump from computer/midi/sequencing, to actual audio recording, this is a great place to start. I was using all of it up until this week when I upgraded my whole studio, so I can attest to the fact that it's good stuff.
Roland UA-100 Audio/Midi USB interface with effects.
(I used this with Cakewalk 8, 9, and Sonar. 2in 2 out midi jacks, 2 1/4" inputs, RCA ins and outs, lots of onboard Roland Effects. This is a great piece of gear that didn't really catch on. However, it got me into audio recording and I made some money with it. If you're interested, make sure you have the right USB controller chip in your computer, (compatible chips are usually on intel motherboards, AMD folks are usually out of luck on this one). Check out www.edirol.com for more info.
Mackie 1202 mixer- This is the original folks. I treated it well, and it's done great for me. Used the first 4 channels' pre-amps direct out of the insert jacks. Works great.
I'd like to sell it all together for like $450 OBO, but if you're interested in one piece, make me an offer. (The UA-100 cost me $595 with a copy of Cakewalk 8!) Make me a good offer on the whole deal and I'll see if I've got any extras around here to sweeten the deal for you.
You'll be responsible for paying actual shipping, but I can accept payment via paypal.
Thanks!
