I just bought an XV-850 (Strat clone) from them a couple of weeks ago. Very good guitar for a great price.

that just makes it even more painful that my girlfriend bought me 2
DEVLIN guitars on Ebay
which really are pretty average to say the least
one was damaged ,,and the other was COMPLETELY the wrong guitar
yet we goot screwed by Ebay,,and stuck with the damn things:mad:

Sell 'em on Craigslist and be rid of 'em.
id love to mate:(
we really need to get rid,cos i wont use them
and im certainly not buying harcases to take them back to Scotland either
i only got them cas my my names devlin:o,and they are VERY cool lookin,,
in the pics at least
the company on ebay that sold them to us,,
even mailed them stuck in one big cardboard box
in gigbags. no packaging or bubblewrap or nuthin
the explorer shaped one was just stuffed in upside down so it would fit
is there anywhere i could get my hands on a couple of those cardboard guitar boxes ?
cos ive no idea how id ship them otherwise

Oh, man, that sucks.

You might just want to take them to a local UPS or DHL shop (or whatever you have in your area) and ask them to recommend packaging for you.

aye,,it sure does mate
she was bidding on both at one time so she could surprise me,,then won both
its amazing to think that we had cause and were 100% correct
(1 guitar damaged-other wasnt what we bought)
and yet Feebay screwed us
so she lost over $300 on that. we were never even told what became ofteh one we DID buy,and didnt get so much as an apology from these scumbags:(
the best ofer was to return ONE of them,
,and pay more postage even though it wasnt our fault
scandalous it is

aye ,,maybe i can do that,,thanks.
im gonna have awee look online ans see if any stores would sell such a
thing as a guitar shaped box
if i thoughtthere was teh slightest chance,,
id even ask in a guitar cebnter or sumthin
but i doubt that very much
ive never used the craigslist thing,so im checkin that out now too
thanks Zaphod;)

Good luck, Monsterpop.

Craigslist is a piece of cake to use. Create an account for free, log on, post ads. The first time I used it was when we had to sell a lot of my father-in-law's furniture due to his moving to a nursing home. We got immediate responses, and people with cash in hand. :)

Cheers mate;-)
i will suggest that to her when she gets home and see how we get on
Ebay is a dead loss these days it seems, and the costs are ridiculous
thanks again:cool:

eBay didn't screw you over, the seller did, it's not eBay's fault! :p

I think Fender's HW1 telecasters are a great deal and sound great, too.
