Do you know how the 160a compares to the 160x?
 
Well, the original ones have removable replacable capsules, the new ones do not. However, the new ones look like the capsules are removable. I will have to pull mine out and compare. Never really looked that closely at either the new or the old ones. I can tell them apart visually by the way that my old ones have aged.
 
Props for giving the Home Recorders some great deals Big K. I would have grabbed a couple of things if not for my recent LDC binge :)
 
DBX 160's are back as is a Sonic Maximizer, I do not endorse this product but the one I have is the best they make and in perfect condition. I had to try it before I could say anything about it. Not for me...http://www.zzounds.com/a--2676837/item--BBE882I $175

I am interested in the compressors, but I will have to wait until after I finish all my Christmas shopping to make sure I can swing it... :o
 
Sorry Kenny... as much as I would not mind haveing some more 451's right now, I just had a good friend call me to tell me about a 35 year old Neumann U47 FET with about 5 or so hours on it. That will pretty much eat up my financial resources for this month:(
 
Damn X-mas. If I had more funds I'd buy one of the DBX's but I just spent more money than I should have on a Apogee Rosetta.
