I got a Echo "Darla 24" at a (Unknown – As is) table at a Computer "junk store" for $75 US Dollars... (No Manual) but the price on the Box said $499. (Yes they have 3 more of them.) I looked it up before I went and picked it up and it seems to be a card that is well known and respected but maybe older. (In the one I got the card was still in a sealed bag) Everything seems to be there except the Manuals. Looks like I can download the drivers so that should not be a problem. but wonder if it was a good Price? It appears that the cards are no longer a supported item. (Story of my life) The Speck says that it handles 2 in 8 out. I noticed that the cards have jumpers for connecting more than one card together (But I cant see any mention of that on the "http://www.echoaudio.com" WebPages I found) The guy, who does know me fairly well and did call me about these cards, said he would put them aside if I wanted the other 3
I wonder if at that price I should maybe go get at least another one so I could have do recording on 4 in at the same time if it was ever something I wanted to do...
It also looked like the Gigasampler can use this card for midi outputs and wonder if it would use more than one card if available. ($75 dollars is in my budget)
