I'm sure I got the right one this time!!!

Man, I don't know what to say!
This is awesome! 3rd listen and That guitar just speaks right to me. The afformentioned Chewy comin' in is too much! I love it!
Then we're back to the rockin' chair until 1:47ish and I gotta hear that again. This guitar stuff is freakin' unbelievable.
I'm in if we need to do RECON to find your bases to bomb.(although I think we could give you a little more time)I mean I'm up to 4 spins now FO FREE!!!
-great stuff

Man what a ride! The originality of this piece makes me wonder why you're not signed somewhere. You certainly captured some moods there...the guitar work is stunning. Great stuff!

My favorite of yours. Very cool. I had to slap the headphones on for this one. Love that little harmonic jump at 1:41 in the guitar lead. Nice stereo effects throughout, both the subtle and the not-so-subtle stuff. I really liked the guitar around 1:12. Very "thrak" like sound to this in a way you wouldn't expect from a home recording.

My real thumb is bigger than the one in the icon above. And I give you two thumbs up!

Very good...

Sam escapes from the Borg, shouting, "Resistance is not futile, it is mandatory!"

Very cool Bro!

Man SAM!.....you have really evolved.....I'm so glad I've been around here long enough to get to follow your growth over the last year and a half.......I'm so amazed.....come down here to Louisiana where we know how to appreciate artists and get you a band together.

You know my new policy on mixes.....and nothing jumps out at me needing to be changed.......
I'm gonna have to set up a late phone call with you sometime and find out how you do certain things you do.....I'm serious. If I could get some of those sounds.....there's a club I play filled with nubile young women who would throw themselves at my feet begging for release.

Hey Sam,
.......A nice afternoons worth of work man.

I like the tom sounds in this. Theyre kinda small and high.... and for some reason sound real cool in this.

The synth part at around 1:00, the end, etc. almost reminds me of some Beasties stuff off of check your head. I dont know if you were going for that or not, but if it were possible to tighten up that synth sound (the sound, not the playing) in those locations, you might be able to put some funky ass into those parts.
...... :D preference of course. .....but, everybody loves a little funky ass.

Very cool...almost kind of industrial in a way. You have some great stereo panning effects in there...and some of the other sound textures you are using give this piece a very interesting mood.

Very cool instrumental. It sounds huge!

No mix stuff. Just sounds good!

:D

Ok, I know i posted earlier, but damn....The more I listen the more I hear and the more I love this. Love that lead tone and the delays that answer those slurred pitches.

Dunno how old you are, and I know you have some great equipment......care to adopt a 33yr old and his family? How bigs your apt? :D

Great music.

Yeah... LOL @ SLuiCe, too Steve... it was the timing of it. First, sam does his "47%... 80%..." in Tom's thread, then Tom comes back and posts that... :p

BTW sam must have been slain last night by Tom, or someone else on the Quake... has he even been here today?

I don't comment here much, cause I post even less :D , but everytime I hear something by you sam it is always heavily addicting, and I find myself listening over and over again. I don't have comments on the mix, but just to simply say this kicks serious ass, and thanks once again for providing this listening pleasure.

there are tunes to listen and tunes to get inspiration from -- this is one from the second sort!

you are very talented, man!

Well I'll get in line with everyone else and tell you this is very cool stuff:cool: Though something sounds kinda wierd and crushed about it-theres alot of subsonic stuff in the mix--I'm under headphones and they're rumbling big-time. Don't know how to explain it really--it sounds smashed--is it heavily limited?? Very cool stuff at ~1:00 sounds like robots talking (gossiping? hey I'm a little slow);) .....

great title..........nice production.........your productions are becoming much fuller........in the sense that i feel that my own recordings are just songwriter recordings........yours are becoming songwriter/producer recordings , which is cool to see....or hear...whatever

I think the sounds are great. Nice work as usual. You have evoked a great deal of emotion through an instrumental (can be hard).

Only thing I would like is stronger drums. More kick. Maybe even more industrial, electronic machine like especially considering the title. Actually as I listen, they do kind of sound like a machine cranking away. Just turn em' up!

Nice!

Listening on phones at work.

Super nice man. Very interesting listen. This is another keepers folder song for me. Mix sounds great to me. Maybe the drums could be a little more prominent, but it didn't bother me extremely that they weren't.

Nice work man!!
