i wrote & recorded this song myself a couple of years a go before i started to get in some decent equipment, i'd not been recording for very long & the mp3's taken a bit of a beating through being converted a number of times...so it's a bit muddy, but hey... hopefully get round to re-recording it soon..

i'd appreciate any advice or comments, thnx for listening

Good one!
Nice lyric (spelling not so though) & performance. The harmonies are appropriate as is the key sound - what is that instrument/sample? The only thing that needs tweaking is a little of the bass tone, also when you change the bass rhythm there seems a hiccough.
I'd also like you to have cross faded from the effected intro to the clean sound a bit latter or slower.
Go ahead & re-record but don't toss this version - it's very good. Better technology doesn't always make for better perfromances.

thank for your remarks, i used a melodica in the track.. as for the bass, i beleive it was just the top string of my guitar

Hey sane boy. You sound just like my friend Mike. Amazing! Checkout song "Oakridge" reclusefilmstar. You could be brothers!

I like my friends stuff, so...same goes for yours :) If you rerecord this, maybe try and spice up the arrangement (just the drums even) so that the song "moves" a bit more. It sounds a little like you just hit pattern play on the drum machine and left it. Which sometimes works. But I need more variation here.

Cheers

thanks for your comments, appreciated..
that was pretty much the case for my drums at that stage :o
as for re-recording it, i'd like to keep it close to the original but better quality,
some fills etc...
