behringer truths...$399 or if you hae a lowe budget you can get something like monitor 1's.. they aren't the best of anything but you cna get a decent mix on them

Can't beat the quality for the price. I have a pair and love 'em. They're small too which is nice if you have a tight space!

I've got a pair of passive Yorkville YSM1i's that I'm quite pleased with. A powered version is also available.
