Believe it or not, Audacity does a good job of boosting volume for me. Just import your track and use the track controls on the left to turn it up. Be careful you don't clip. If you have a podcast or something that isn't music or hasn't been previously normalized, the Levelator works too.

Sounds pretty good. It sound like the vocals could use a bit more in the low end. The actual song is great. Not really my style of music, but it's well written. The drums sound good. Kind of a neo-70's sound. Good job.

Thanks for the comments. =)

I will try audacity. :)

I was also kinda satisfied with the drums on this one. I added a bit low end on the snare. The rest of the drums are not mixed at all. Just panning on overheads. Im uncertain about the outcome of the melody/lyric though. Maybe that is why this is not your cup of tea.. =)

great natural drumsound. i like that sound much much more than modern "hifi" drumsounds with too much high-end/treble
liked the song, well done

Great voice! Can't critique the recording as I'm a noob, but the song I love.

Also love the bassline!
