Please check out "Postal.mp3"

Aside: Am I the only one actually using any of this cool equipment, or are all the rest of you waiting to cash in on that new contract with a major label? Where are the results of other folks' attempts? Not even half a percent of the population here has kicked down with what they're creating in their neck of the woods. :(

Yeah, know what you mean. Not too many people post mp3's. Not that I post many either, but hope to soon.

I d/l postal.mp3, interesting stuff. Reminds me a bit of some of the songs on Al Dimeola's album "electric Rendevous", has that kinda sound somewhere on there. Listen to much Jan Hammer?

Oh yeah. I think one reason many people don't post, and the reason I don't d/l as much as I would like to is the bandwidth issue. I'm stuck on a crummy 56K so it takes ages to u/l or d/l anything. I wish I could d/l everything on here and listen to it, but it's just to time consuming. ADSL is coming soon to my area though! :)

Would it help the situation if I provided a very low bandwidth .mp3 sample plus the full bandwidth .mp3 file? My S/W can create 16Kbps mono .mp3 files that sound similar to RA files. I've checked out all the alternatives inbetween (8, 16, .... 320 Kbps) and anything less than 64 stereo really sounds crummy. :(
P.S. you're gonna love faster Internet access. At 300KB/sec .mp3 files come down NOW!
