I have messing with this Satriani tune for years.
I don't have Joe's bag of cool shred tricks but I get by ok on this in my own simple way.
Just a couple small goofs here and there.

Check out my first mix and let me know how it sounds.

Appreciate the listen and comments.

Never heard that Satch tune before so I cant compare, but sound good. Guitar work is cool but the drums I dont like. Need to do it with real drums.

Thanks, bush.

I don't have drums, play drums, know any drummers or have the means to records live drums so that's out. :(

On the plus side, my drummer works for free, doesn't drink my beer and sounds good enough for my humble home recording hobby. :)

Pretty Cool. Good playing & nice guit tone. Is a bit thin on the bass and drum end of things.

I dont know this tune either but back in the day I used to think satch was god (surfing with alien) so you picked a good artist to play :)

Nice fiddling man ~

Dude, you have a sweet tone. You should try doing a collab with one of the drummers on the site and let them track some real drums for you. Nice playing there, man.

Satriani must have been a ZZtop fan...cause ZZ is written all over the style and a lot of the tones. That's a good thing though...ZZ kicks butt!

A rockin' tune EL. You do it well!

Awesome execution.

Hey EL...do you ever collab with anyone, doing original songs? You've gotta kick ass at that!

Nice playing man. I don't know the original, but the tone sounds just right for the genre. Pretty cool. :)
