hi all, just decided to join the mp3 frenzy.hope you like some of this. any feedback is welcome especially about encoding and bit rates for mp3's. tia Keith www.artistlaunch.com/newdawn

Hey Keith, I checked them both out, very cool indeed. I can only listen on lo-fi, as I have a modem. Why dont you have the download thing checked off? If you do, people can listen to the songs at a much higher fidelity rate.

thanks for the listen david, sorry about the quality,i don't have a clue about the mp3 encoding and bit rate thing. i just put another song up and the there is still alot of distortion on lo-fi. I have checked out your stuff too, it is very refreshing to hear ,complex and inspiring, more please... btw you have my dream job gigging with yes, they are in philly this tuesday but i have to work late shift . download is now enabled, thanks

that was some great playing there. No complaints about the song at all.

As for the mix, I think that the piano could have been much louder. In this case, it was even lower than the background. Raising the volume will really call attention to it.

I think the pad could go down a bit, and the kick and bass could come up some.

nice man.

thanks cyan. i agree that Gigi definitely needs the piano to come up more as well as your other suggestions. glad you liked the song and thanks for your input. i would like to remix all 3 songs with a friend who gets a killer sound out of his warwick bass. same with the drum tracks.

Just starting to load up Epilogue... I see no mention of what you used anywhere... gonna try out the one under it too...

hi tubedude, i recorded gigi and the warrior on a 366 celeron with pro audio 9. epilogue was done on a p3-800 , i built in dec.2000 with the help of the fine people here at homerecording, using sonar xl. leslies vocals on epilogue are tracked with a c3000b >presonus mp-20>lucidad9624>motu 2408. will be trying her voice out on a tlm103 soon as i can drag her back into the studio. btw i dig your song a lot.
