I'd like to transition my recording from 4-track to a PC. Rather than ask for answers,
I thought it would be better to ask if anyone can point me to resources that would help get me started. Otherwise you'd probably have to answer me with loads of additional questions. For example, I need to figure out the kinds of decisions to make before I buy, equipment reviews, how to apply the equipment I already have, etc. I'm just trying to do some homework before I jump in.
I searched this topic and got some good info but didn't see that kind of consolidated list. Can anyone recommend books, videos, or (Dragon, don't take this the wrong way!) other online resources that help answer the "before you get started" kind of questions?
Of course, I'll add this BBS to the ones I already read on Homerecording.com. I've already gotten a lot of good info on other topics from you guys.
