Well, unfortunately some issues came up and I can't get everything I was hoping for. Anyways, to start my recording I'm just going to use my computer and record voices, saxophones, and hopefully the keyboard (old yamaha PSR-225) that has midi input and outputs. What piece of equipment do I need to get and record to my computer? I'm guessing a preamp or mixer? What brands are inexpensive and will get the job done for now. At the moment, just want to get familiar with recording, hopefully within the next few months I will be able to purchase other equipment. On my computer I just have the soundcard that was included with my mobo (DFI NF3). Please help me out as I'm looking to buy tomorrow.
