O.K. I have been recording for years, but considering the basic audio stuff I do, really I have the knowledge of a newbie's newbie in many areas.

I just found and old cassette recording of some songs I did years ago on one of the old tascam multitrackers.

I want to get into my computer as a wav. file

How can I get it into Reaper to edit it and then put it on a cd.

I'm traveling and using a line 6 UX1. It has two line in's.
I have a cord with rca's to 1/4 in plug. But having trouble finding and old cassette player with rca outs.

Could I go from the headphone out? If so is there a cord for that to get it into reaper as a stereo file?

get or make a cable that would split the stereo headphone output of your tape player and plug left and right to the separate line ins. Now record it to a stereo track on reaper.:)
