Getting more inputs

Right now i'm working with a two input interface going to my computer. In terms of price vs utility what would be my option to get more inputs recording at once? Is it possible to buy a miixer and run that into my interface to the computer?
 
thanks for the link...the one thing i really want to know is if i can take a mixer and run that into my interface with the left and right line outputs to get a stereo track into my computer?
 
Yes if you're talking about a traditional analog mixer, you can run the main outputs into your soundcard. If you want to record more than 2 tracks, you'll need a soundcard that can accommodate additional inputs
