I have a Shure KSm32 connected to a VoiceMaster Pre amp

Still Im not getting the sound that I want

I have Studio Monitors (Event Built in amp)

On the Pre Amp is there a specific way to set it up so that
Vocals could sound crisp?

need more specifics about the vocals, what are you getting now, whats the room like, whats the singers voice like etc.

as of now, When I put someone in da booth da voice sounds
choppy and distorted at times

the booth is 4ft by 4ft and ceiling is 8 feet
All SoundProoff with Wedges of 20 dollas a sheet
from guitar center!

It sounds like you might have da gain on da preamp tuned up too high. Might be causing nasty clipping, eh.

Vocal Sound

Some meters are much better than others, you could be clipping (or overdriving) something without them showing it. Your levels may be okay except on the loudest parts. If not, something could be damaged. Try different mics. Try different preamps. Try without the vocal processor.
I doubt it's your mic, (it's a shure)... I would probably check the Voicemaster first. I've damaged a vocal processor with a feedback loop before. (I'm not proud of that)...
And of course, it could be a cable...

sometimes too much compression can give you a distorted sound....if its a cheap compresser. if you using any effects take them out and try the mic dry into the pre. a noisegate threshold thats set too high will make things choppy sounding.
peace

I second that. Check/replace the cable first. Bad cables will drive you crazy, but it's the easiest thing in the chain to check first.
