Taking the slow road
Song is called, "Every Day." If it doesn't play from the page, then click on the button for, "Stand alone player." That comes up in new window and has worked for me every time.

Comments welcome.

Nice song John, who I first thought was Jun, then Jay. :D

It sounds like a mandolin in there.

Some good pickin' going on.

You got a Bob Dylan vocal style, but you sing much better, so I enjoyed listening.

TRUE :)

Nice tune man. Lyrics remind me of life....just happens. I dig the song. Just has a nice feel to it. Excellent job man....and get out of that rut.... :D

Yeah. That's a fun song. Lot's of variation to keep you listening...even tho the bulk of it is just an acoustic. Cool.

Sometimes that high part -- mandolin or pretend mando -- gets a bit loud and drowns the rest (on my crap work speakers anyway). Maybe it sounds Ok on a more "HiFi" setup.

Overall, a good tune :)

Thanks for the listen

Yes, I was testing, and you got here faster than I could edit and post the tune :)

Thank's for listening! and again for commenting!! :)

TRUE - it's all guitar, some is up the neck in 4ths, some at the end it higher picking. I guess I better start listening to some other vocalists, or do something w/ my voice, sometimes I don't like it.

Dogman - yes, and I'm glad you heard the lyrics. I tried to put 2 points of view in there, not sure if it's explicit enough.

aspiring - that double stop is loud, I have to listen again. I do try to get different parts going on as much as possible since this style doesn't have much melody in there.

Very cool song man - the playing in the upper registers really sounds like a mandolin and gives it some uniqueness sound-wise.

Nice arpeggio on the chorus and the telephone sound is right on the money (The Crack should listen to this tune - he'd see what I meant).

Well played catchy tune....good one!

Only a minor nit (technical in nature) - Seems to lose abit of meat around 2:50 maybe that where the fade out starts but it seems too long a fade out if that's what was intended....

ido1957, yes, i did notice the abrubt drop there, i don't know how i let that stay in there...I do hear a lot of people saying mandolin, that's interesting, i didn't actually think of it that way. thanks a lot for listening and especially for the feed back!

tonight i heard it on someone's awesome stereo and luckily, i liked the sound, i didn't cringe like i sometimes do :) especially w/ my stuff...

i really have to move on to my next project, so i can't really do much more at the moment with this song. it might be a while for next song, but i do have an instrumental jammy thing i might post, not sure if i should....
