I think soon we will have fab video mixing the song...that will be great! I participated in other contest he made in spain and after the deadline all participants received the video link...can't wait to check that out

Not necessarily - I guess the amount of time you have had your mix up for and the number of plays makes a difference to the probability that someone will download.

I got one download so far...but as long as it was downloaded by the contest judges....I'm OK with one download.

Yeah, I wonder how many contest judges there are?... But I would imagine they wouldn't start downloading until after the deadline for the contest has past.

Probably a team will make the big selection and then fab will choose from a smaller group...I'm also not shure if they will download or just stream, since streaming will give them the same format for every mix, downloading different files formats would make selection more time consuming, just speculating, jejej

Good point.

Maybe they'll just stream to select the ones they think are contenders, then download those ones for closer scrutiny.

Just curious...how many are downloading mixes to listen?...I've noticed quite a few downloads on mine - Personally, I'm just streaming to listen.

I wonder how the soundcloud counter is working? On some new mixes I posted, I had one listen but already two likes???

Forgive me my ignorance but can someone explain to me what exactly that follower count means? When someone follows me does that mean he or she gets a massage when something happens on my account? Sorry I'm even not on facebook, twitter and alike.

It means that your sounds will appear in their personal stream on soundcloud.

Man, I can FEEL your mix. I dig the atmosphere, everything's consistent and go towards your goal. Very punch and expressive. Then only regret I have is the snare, I think it's too snappy and was EQ'ed too high frequency wise, and thus it blends not well the rest of the mix. Also I have felt the third verse has lost a bit of the vibe you get in the first verse, we feel you have lost something that we had before; I think it's just a question a balance between vocals, guitar and bass. I know you did that in purpose to create a quiet moment before the finish, mais quand même...

Good overall job, good luck to you! And good luck to all of you mixers hidden in the shadow.

I had downloaded a few entries that I liked when there were only about 500 of them. I was curious about the differences in quality and wanted to compare some aganist my own mix by adding them as tracks and soloing them after level matching to get an idea where other people vs. me were going.

I would love to get some feedback on my mix.
I was mixing for the first time and would like to hear some advise snd comments.
Like, if there are some sounds in my mix which I did not notice and hear but yoy can.
