I've heard from different sources that john frusciante used an analog four-track recorder. I wasn't sure if it was a reel to reel or a cassette recorder. I'm not looking for precisely that sound, I just want a simple analog device for recording material at home. Does anyone know the brand and model he used? Can anyone make a recommendation for something similar?
