So you load two wavs into Audition. Then you copy the second wav into your clipboard or even better, select cut so that it leaves the window empty(to use later), but stores the wav in your clipboard...then find a suitable place in the first wav toward the end where you'd like the second track to cross fade, mark the position with your mouse and then select 'paste and mix' or simular command so that you then have one big wav containing the two tracks. You must used 'mix' though else you'll just wipe the end of the first tune.
Now you select a point where you'd like the first track to end and the second one to start and highlight this area until the end of the wav so you in effect, have the second part of the wav selected. Now select cut which will delete this section of wav from your original and store it in your clipboard. So now you paste this into a new window or even the old one if it's still there and now you have two wavs again only now, the end of the first has the start of the second and you guessed it...the start of the second has the end of the first joined with it.
Now it's just a case of saving off the two wavs as track01 and track02 and then burning to CD. You'll be able to select either track from the CD but if you leave track 1 till the end...it will seemlessly join into track two.
Now there's every chance I lost you a long time ago but if you kept a clear head and paused and thought while reading this, then there's every chance you've got it.
I really can't think of a better way to explain though without actually showing you with some sort of youtube tutorial but really, it ain't half as hard as it sounds...just think about it and it'll happen.
