Great production, sound, melodies, lyrics...shit...its just too cool! I'm really dating myself, but your song brings back memories of things like Steve Miller, Bowie, Elton John, a little Beatles/ELO, and a few others. It has that classic 60s/70's sensibility--a groove, real hooks, an intelligent but fun lyric, and so on. Like, when songs still had an element of fun. Maybe some still do, but I digress.

I really like you as an artist. I kept thinking "THIS is what SHOULD be happening on radio now" as I listened. I think theres a hunger for this kind of music that drives a lot of people back to hear older music. Your stuff is fresh but has those classic elements that make lasting music. I hope that record companies wise up soon and that you get a deal.

crawdad!!! Thanks man! I wish you worked at a record co. This is such a great review, I can't tell you how cool it is. This is exactly what I've been trying to go for, against the advice of more than a few people. You put it so well, I'm gonna want to quote you when we start hitting up those record cos. I can only hope that some A&R person will see it like you do!!

Thanks again, you really made my day. :) :) :)

Al,
I have them uploaded already so if you need them let me know on the board or through the e-mail function.I dont wanna post the url to them unless you need them.

Geez, I go out of town for a week to do some househunting (I'm moving to Mississippi) and you post a new song! Luckily for me I decided to click on the bookmark I have for your angelfire page, and lo and behold -- a new one to listen to! My wife was wondering what I was hollering about, and after I started playing the song (once the intro was over) she said, "Oh, Macle's got a new one up?!" You definitely have a fan club at this house.

Another great song; I happen to like upbeat pop stuff, and this song fit the bill. Nice harmonies as always! I only have the 9 songs too, so I guess I'll have to buy the CD when it comes out. :) Well, I would anyway to support such a great artist!!!

Now that I am finally finishing the school year and presenting my Masters thesis at the end of the month, I am hoping to do some more songs of my own in July before we move. Thanks for the inspiration!

AL-No problem. But, you probably noticed I took them down (the site kept going down, and I wasn't sure if you had got them yet), so it turns out Kramer is the man! Hope you got the tunes, and have a great summer back in Taiwan, and thanks again for all your great feedback! :)
