You see that a lot in the cities where the preppy/yuppie/broker types hang. They wear black suits Mon-Fri...then on Friday night they break out their expensive, brand new Hogs, put on their "biker" duds, and ride around the city streets trying to look like "rebels". :D

It's like the movie...."Wild Hogs"

 
I feel my thread morphing...

I ride a Triumph Sprint ST, and a '99 Suzuki GSX-R600- my play-bike. Had a Bandit 1200 prior to the Triumph. Had a Kawi Vulcan 800- dead ringer for a HD Softtail except for the radiator, and it was fun to be seen riding it, but not so much riding it, if you know what I mean. I'm just not the cruiser type.

I don't care for HD-types or the "lifestyle," either, but my GF thought I'd like Wild Hogs, and I had to admit, it was a fun film. If I were a HD rider of either type- lawyer/dentist/etc, or 1%-er, I probably would not have liked it so much.

I like those GSX's.
Fastest bike I ever rode was a Turbo Yamaha that had been bored to 1400 I think it was, and hot rodded by 'Pops' Yoshimura. Friend of mine had more money than sense ..... :D

THAT was a scary fast bike ....... actually fairly mellow 'till the turbo kicked in and then it tried to kill you.

But a GSX-750 will go way faster much quicker than anyone really needs to go.

Currently, if I had tons of money, the bike that I'd like to have is one of those Buells. I just like 'em.

Yea, I agree completely... I baited my Triumph T Bird with an LP, man did that Gibby go like the fuckin' whore she was. Love this thread.

Really? I was actually thinking of buying one on Saturday. I have a real problem paying over a grand for a stellar electric guitar though. For me, that's when the diminishing returns to scale really kick in.

Nothing wrong with PRS they just don't do anything that a guitar at half the price without the pretty wood can do. They do focus on the bling though...
