FS: Vintage Fostex Line/Recording Mixer

This is a really neat old unit, crystal clear, everything is in perfect working order.

Perfect for an analog recording set-up, or a large keyboard/electronic set-up.

Has 16 ins, splittable to 2 8s, LED meters for both, 4 auxes, pan, gain. All 16 channels have 1/4" ins at the front and RCA ins at the back. 2 sets of stereo outs.

It's actually a pretty powerful and versatile line-mixer, I'm just selling to supplement a different gear purchase. (of course)

I've seen these going as high as $300, Prepal has them at a fluxuating $127, I'm looking for $150 or best offer. The unit has no problems or cosmetic flaws.

good luck. i have two of these which I listed on ebay, as a pair for $100, and no takers. Then I listed them seperately at $50 a pop, no takers.

I'd love to know who wants these, otherwise they'll just sit in my attic.

They are EXCELLENT for multi-synth keyboard rigs.
 
Really? Guess I'll just hang onto it then, I'm not going to go that low.

Perhaps everyone is too busy fiddling with their new Behringer gear?

These are great line mixers, perfect for e-set ups and computer recording, not to mention analog tape set-ups with the 16 rca outs on the back.

Ah well.
 
Yeah, unfortunately that was my experience. Not sure why, as like you said it's a great mixer for a keyboard rig, tape returns, summing of multiple outboards to a mixing console, and so forth.

I went that low just because I wanted to sell them and not store them any longer. But, about 5-6 people watched the auction, two people asked questions, yet no one bid. So... in the attic they went.

I didn't mean to intrude on your for-sale post. I just saw what you were selling and it reminded how annoyed I was with that ebay auction, that's all. Certainly nothing meant by it. I have a big mouth :D
