I really hate to get rid of these, but the truth is, I just don't have the time to work on recording like I wanted to. I have litterally used these once and only for about an hour. They have been in their original boxes the rest of the time. Here is the description from zZound.com (note that I do not endorse the site, they just have the only "official" description I could find.)
All KRK Rokit powered monitors feature a proprietary signature yellow woofer made of a woven glass aramid composite that delivers a tight low-end response and a soft dome tweeter for natural sounding highs. The drivers are electronically crossed over and are bi-amped for increased efficiency. All of this is housed in an attractive cabinet with radiused corners that reduce edge diffraction resulting in better audio imaging.
