FS: Ampeg Bass rig

Selling for my bassist:

Ampeg SVT III Pro bass head. Excellent condition, 3 years old. Just gone over by JFK electronics and everything found to be in excellent shape mechanically, best he's seen, in his words. Tubes are still fine. Racked it's whole life.

Ampeg SVT 2x10 bass cab. Excellent condition, tolex is near perfect, I think there's one minor tear on the bottom edge, I will confirm this. Looks almost new.

She takes very good care of her gear, you will not be disappointed.

$800 for both, plus shipping - which would obviously be a lot on the cab, so you can also pick this up in Buffalo, NY. Would be willing to meet in Fort Erie, Ontario for Canadians. She would prefer to sell them together, but she might consider seperating.

How much for just the cab? I have a friend who might be interested.
 
I know someone who may be interested in that head. How much would you want for just that?
 
This could work out nicely...sure, it'd be more to ship, but at least you get rid of both.

I have two locals interested in these as well, so it's likely going to be whoever will pay first I think! She wants to sell asap, she just bought a different head.

The head would be $600 and the cab would be $200, but I think she would go to $750 on both.

The cab is going to be ridiculous to send, I'd really recommend coming to get it. ;-) But she'll do it if you insist! Obvioulsy shipping insurance would be required.

Can you (or her) figure out how much shipping the cab to OH would be? 45409? That is where my friend lives.
 
Where in OH is that? We're up in Buffalo, NY which is only 3 hours from Cleveland.

I'll look into shipping though, I dont know what kind of box this would go into though. :-) I'll check into it.

btw, are you a member of the Pearl Drummers Forum? I think someone (or you maybe) posted your site a while back.
 
I'm not a member there, but I think someone posted my site because all the sudden one month I got a ton of hits coming from there. :-) I'm curious to know why it was posted if you do!

Checking into shipping for you, but I'd recommend picking it up! Probably would be the same $$....
 
Quite a few bites on the head, but no one followed through. Still available.

Cab is possibly sold, will post back if anything changes. Shipping will likely be in the $20-$40 range, depending on where in the country you are.
 
took me a while to figure out what the hell was so funny, but I get it now. :-)

The BASS head is still available. As far as other head, well, I can't help you out there. ;-)
 
Is the head racked still ? Would international shipping (Ireland) be considered ?
