FS: 2 Desktop Computers

I'm wanting to sell a couple of Dell Desktop computers w/CD-Rom's that I picked up. I had the intention of creating an FX Teleport system but I just don't see myself getting around to it.

I don't know the EXACT specs of each PC but both have about a 40 - 60 gig HD, CD-Rom drives, about 1Ghz processor, and about 512MB RAM.

I'd like to get $75 plus shipping. That's pretty cheap even if you're just going to use them for parts.

Wow that is really cheap.

I'm broke right now but if you haven't sold them by Christmas then maybe I could buy one. Not sure though. I could use some of the parts, especially the RAM.
 
:mad: If only this was posted a week earlier. I was looking to get the g/f a basic PC for internet browsing for X-mas and ended up spending a lot more than that.

I have a solution for you!!! Take back that PC that you got and buy mine. :)

Or sell your girlfriend and buy mine. :eek: My computers...not my girlfriend.

i have no idea how i missed this post last week:( but my sis is looking for a pc to do some online schoolin'.....i have to wait untill tommorow when i see the fam for x-mas to see if they will spot some change for one of those....

BTW...i'm not pc savvy so what is a 1,ghz processor? is that like a pIII?
 
I'll also consider trades for items I might be looking for. Let me know what you have.

got any idea what the cost of shipping would be?

I am having ideas about a Linux box these might rock out for that!

do they have USB? or ethernet?

Not sure how much shipping would be. I guess I'd charge $20 and cover anything over that, insurance included.

They have USB...and I'm almost certain they have ethernet...like 99% sure.

As tempted as I am, don't get too excited by my interest. I'd have to sell something of equal value to afford this, and I'm pretty well tapped out.

And really, I need a firewire port, so that would add a few extra bucks, and possibly screw me if I can't get it to work for some reason.

Edit. And this is just for the computer, right? no monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc?
 
My mom needs a new computer, I think the one she has now is fried. I've tried changing hard drives, IDE cables, etc. Nothing's working.

I'll ask her when she gets off work if she wants to get one of the computers. It would be a big upgrade from the one she has now anyway.

I don't think she'll want to get one right now but it's worth asking.
 
go any way to do some trading? I am a little flat right now.... I could trade you an SM58 and maybe something else If i do some looking around.... a copy of my CD?

I'm very far from MI, I'll tell you that. I'm in the southern part of the U.S. And yes, it's just for the computer.

I would be interested in trades. However, a Shure SM58 isn't something that I'm looking for. What else do you have?
