How does one export a sequence/loop out of FruityLoops 3? I have tried to "Save as" and "Export" as a wav, but it won't play in Acid or on my music player. What gives? Do I have to have at least a minute of audio or something? Just wanted to make a bunch of good drum loops.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I figured drummers sometime use this software.

I dont know what gives.
I haven´t used Fruityloops myself but I use Acid and what I know is that is it wav, Acid will play it. I know you definetly doesn´t need a minimum play time...

(I think I have some spelling issues above) :)

Export as wav, choose your options for bit depth and mono or stereo. Then there's a "save Acidized" option, check that. Voila!

Still nothing . . .

I followed your procedures and still no audio. I tried 16 bit Acidized wavs and just 16 bit wavs, no luck. I don't get it. When one first loads Fruity, you can choose 'default' soundcard or specifically the one you have installed. I thought this might be the problem, but with much experimentation, it isn't.

It's sad, because I really like this software, but it looks like I'd have to record the loops via a mic to record them, and that would defeat the purpose. I wonder if I have the demo version and can't save the audio?

hmmmmmm

uh ya I was wondering the same...must be the demo version no???...I tried registering mine in the help menu and nuthin....

Make sure Wav is checked, and not MIDI or MP3..,

Did you pay for it?

That's a pretty surefire way to tell if it's registered. If you did pay for it, you can ask the same question on the tech support boards at www.fruityloops.com and you'll definitely get a response. Anyway, I've never seen a problem where no audio was generated when I exported to wav, so I can't really give you an answer.

You could have your EDITOR record the drums.

Have FLP play the drum sample, while your EDITOR records it.

Then, TRUNCATE the silence before and after the sample.
